Public Health
The public health of the citizens of Weston Lakes is a major concern of the City of Weston Lakes, Fort Bend County and the State of Texas. The threats to the public health are all around us from rabid animals, to food poisoning, sanitation issues with private septic systems, communicable diseases, germ and virus carrying insects and animals, the disease carrying wild animals, rodents and alligators. The County Health and Human services at Fort Bend County provides cities guidance and assistance in the establishment and execution of programs to monitor public health, and track the progress and spread of potential diseases and providing resources to cities and citizens to minimize and mitigate the effect of the public health threats.
