We have been waiting for the storms to start.  No need to wait any longer.  Ana and Bill are closing in on the Carribean islands as Tropical Strorms with early potential to reach hurricane strength in next few days.  If you have not thought about getting ready for the coming storms this season now is a good time to renew your plans.  Individual preparedness is the first level of preparedness for emergencies.  The City is moving forward on its preparedness.  Our first exercise is on 8 September.  We all hope that it will not be for real as we build some robustness in our recruitment of volunteers and preparation of facilities to deal with any emergency.  Watch the weather and be prepared.
