On 8 September from 6 pm to 10 pm the City will be conducting a modified table top exercise in the Library at the Club.  We will kick off the Exercise with an overview of the National Incident Management System by Deputy Chief Royall of the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.  Lt Commander Leonard of the US Coast Guard will provide and overview of the National Response for the Houston Galveston area.  Our own Neil Frank will give a weather overview.  We will then go through a table top discussion of the issues related to the set up of the EOC and the conduct of Emergency Operations within the city.  Volunteers will be placed in positions of responsibility within the mock up of the EOC and will be an integral part of the discussions.  Representatives from Fort Bend County Emergency Operations Office (Alan Speer) and from the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department (Chief Herc Meier) will also be attending as observers.
